Nice hotel, nice clean rooms, I recomment this hotel only for a short period.
Location at shoppingmall area. Impossible to swim in the see, a lot of rocks and sallow water

Great location, good breakfast, nice pool - kids pool too, Excellent staff, not crowded - very peaceful - lots of sunchairs at the poolside and on the beach, beachlocation - greats wievs when you eat breakfast.
Very porly build. The premises are going outdated very fast due to use of cheap materials when building the place, therefore its look very run down even if the hotel is quite new. And the internetconnection is a joke. Thru cyberpoint the hotel offers 7 hours internet for the price of 500 tbh. There is no option to buy unlimited internet. And for a 4 star hotel the cleaning is very bad. During over 11 days stay they cleaned the place maybe twice. Then we started to clean ourselves. But they make the beds all the time;.).. Still a great place to stay - mainly for the location and lack of crowd and fantastic staff - and of course the price - 50 eur a day with breakfast (july 2011)

The staff at Iyara were extremley friendly and helpful. In saying this it enticed us to return to Iyara for 1 night when we came back to Koh Samui. The reception staff were fantastic everyday, always smiling and happy. Aswell as being in a very central location, however, still away from the hustle and bustle making is a quiet and pleasant resort to stay at I will definitely be returning to Iyara in the future. Thank you for your hospitality and I look forward to staying there again

The size of the room, very good double bed, the pool, the poolside, the beach and the beachside
Iyara beach doesn't give you value for money. The hotel is too expesive for what you get. The room and the stairwell need better cleaning. The shower didn't function very well (too hot/ too cold).

Good location on Chaweng beach. Very nice swimming pool and beach facilities. The room is clean and comfortable.
Very poor english of the staff. In my bathroom I had problems with the showers hot water that was fixed. The bar service on the beach is horrible. It takes about 20 minutes to bring your request.

Hotel locatıon ıs good.Staff ıs also helpfull and always smiles.
Hotel's constraction is not as known hotels.There are shopping shops at street side of hotel.And there is not a private entrance of hotel.Due to this condition a lot of people go to beach from this way and pass near to you when you relax next to swimming pool.

I liked the front desk person Mac he was so helpful and he had a good command of the English language. He really went out of his way to help me which I really appreciated.
The other employees mostly didn't speak any or very little English. They really tried but alas it was difficult communicating. There were only two personnel that could adequately speak English. The water getting all over the floor was really annoying, everytime I took a shower I had to call the front desk to get them to clean it up because I didn't have enough towels to mop up the water that collected on the bathroom floor. I was told that the Hotel is planning to remedy the situation. Other than that no real complaints, more veggie options would be nice though
